The Founding Story
maxisWOOD was founded by Sompop Majiswala, from his 18 years of expertise in architectural design and construction. Recognizing the growing demand for environmentally-friendly wood alternatives in the construction industry, he embarked on a mission to provide sustainable and visually appealing decorative solutions.
Driven by a deep-rooted passion for integrating nature into living spaces while preserving our precious forests, Sompop sought to create a method of achieving the natural look of wood through composite timber materials. He firmly believed that the beauty of wood in architecture should never compromise the health of our planet.
